Hodgo’s Roll of the Dice – March 1st!

If you love cycling, and in particular blazing some trails on a mountain bike, then this might just be the event for you! Not only is the Hodgo’s Roll of the Dice event great fun, it is a fantastic social day for all the family.

Coomealla Mildura Mountainless Bike Club hosts the Hodgo’s Roll of the Dice as a season opener, then plenty more events throughout the year. The club provides a relaxed and fun atmosphere for all to enjoy, regardless of age or ability and the Roll of the Dice event takes that up a notch, with a competition based on fun with prizes that anyone can win.

It all comes down to luck, and a bit of speed certainly helps. Using the Pony Express format, for a little over an hour, teams of two take turns to complete a lap. At the end of each lap, the rider rolls the 2 x 12 sided dice, to score points.

This is where luck plays its part! One team may complete more laps, but receive low points due to some bad luck with the dice. Meanwhile another team completing less laps, manages to get big points from their rolls, resulting in a higher score!

It is one of the most popular events on the clubs calendar, and an excellent way to get a taste of what our club has to offer. We certainly hope to see you there.

We are an MTBA affiliated club and they provide insurance for our events. MTBA are currently offering free 8 week trial membership for new members, an excellent way to enable new riders to have cover and try out a new sport. We will also have MTBA day memberships available at the track at a fee.
